July 23, 2004 -- Lansdell Potter and Clement Turnbull established Tarris Hill Associates Ltd in 1989. Since then, it has become one of the British Virgin Islands' leading construction firms. Today the company operates through three core business units under the Tarris Hill Group: Tarris Hill Associates: Construction and Building, Tarris Hill Trading: Builders Merchant Trading, and Tarris Hill Rental: Equipment and Plant Rental.



Tarris Hill’s construction and building core provides a comprehensive national building service from major and special projects to smaller residential building projects, coupled with a total infrastructure services capability spanning the full range of civil and construction related disciplines.



The trading core is a full service builder's merchant with wholesale and retail of all major brands and construction related products, as well as a large stock of main materials in our yard and warehouse. Specialist products, along with advice and estimates are available for clients and customers alike, with all leading manufacturers' products either in stock or readily available on short notice. Products not in stock are usually available with weekly shipments from Tarris Hill’s suppliers and manufacturers based all over the world.



Tarris Hill Rental offers full rental service of plant and equipment. Equipment is readily available from Tarris Hill’s offices and ranges from backhoes of varying sizes and capacities, to trucks, and scaffolding and hand tools. Opening hours for the trading and plant hire company are 7.30am to 4 pm and associates from 7.30am to 5 pm. The rental plant consists of 3 backhoes and assorted attachments, 1 number 10.5 cy concrete truck, 1 number flat bed truck, 2 number 3 cy trucks, 1 number 10 cy truck, and 1 number forklift. Additional products include Scaffolding, Accro props, compressors, generators, jackhammers, temporary task lighting tripods, concrete floats, vibrators, power tools, drills, and nail guns. Tarris Hill Rental offers daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates on request.
