GARDEN GROVE, CA August 15, 2003 -– Informative Research (IR), a leader in mortgage information solutions since 1946, has launched a new corporate web site to ease navigation, enhance the resources offered to its customers, and increase consumer understanding of the mortgage loan process.

“Informative Research has always shown a strong commitment to our customers, and we began the web redesign project with them in mind. Through this new site, we’ve provided customers with additional features they recommended as well as other benefits such as increased transaction handling capacity. Our purpose in continuing to invest in technology is to offer a higher quality of service to our users, and to further supplement IR’s personal approach with a centralized online resource,” said Abe Chang, Vice President, Information Services and Chief Information Officer of Informative Research.

One of the most noticeable features of the new IR web site is the immediate access to ordering. Order options have been placed on the home page for credit reports, flood certifications and automated valuation models. In addition, customers can access the Order Center at any time for each service offering and online account management options.

Informative Research also added borrower resources, including links to valuable informational tools such as Fannie Mae and myFICO.com. “Our main objective was to serve our customers in the manner they’ve become accustomed to,” continued Chang. “A major component of streamlining our customers’ workflow includes providing a comprehensive resource for our customers to offer to their customers in order to better educate them on the mortgage process.”

IR’s recent web redesign is the first phase in a planned progression for improved customer transaction capability. The first phase included the visual aspect of site redesign, plus the development of an architecture that is solid and scalable enough to handle the future demands of our customers. As the mortgage industry becomes more sophisticated and automated, Informative Research seeks to continue to integrate and adopt leading-edge technologies.

“Informative Research is anticipating the next shift in the mortgage information industry. We led the way in the change from traditional manual credit reporting processes to ever-increasing automation, and currently stand poised for the future,” said Sean Buckner, Senior Vice President of Informative Research.

“Credit reports and many other mortgage transaction services have moved online, and additional services like Automated Valuation Models have been integrated in the electronic mortgage process. IR supports such innovation and I am pleased to better serve our users via the expanded functionality of our online information and transaction portal.”
